I owe my two half fams a shout out this morning. Yes, I'm talking about you, my half FAM in Chowd Town and you, my other half fam in Frisco. Because it was a real rough night for Frisco basketball fan thanks to Chowd basketball team. Those Chowds put an historic curb stomping on those Frisco fans.

Of course I'm talking about Celtics/Warriors. And I'm talking about the fact that the

Boston Celtics have been competing in the NBA since 1949… and never, not one time, have they ever led any game by 44 at halftime. Until last night.

It’s almost a letdown that they only won the game by 52 after that start… until you remember that they won the game by 52 points. And they didn't just beat the Dubs by 52, they put up 140 total on the Dubs.

A Warriors team that, by the way, came in playing their best ball of the year. They came into last night 3-0 on their current road trip. This is not a doom and gloom segment for you Frisco fan, I’m not here to go all ‘HEY FRISCO FAN, LOOK, YOUR SKY IS FALLING’ on Dubs nation today. Because the sky isn’t falling on Dubs nation. Their team just ran into the sharpest, most jagged buzz saw in the Association last night.

It’s nothing new for the Celtics either... Considering they are currently in the midst of one of the wildest heaters ever in the Association. Boston just ran off 11 straight wins and it's almost like winning isn't enough for them anymore. It's almost like the Celtics need to humiliate you and eviscerate you to feel good about winning.

They aren’t just winning every night, they’re leaving a full scorched earth path of destruction behind them. Boston’s average margin of victory on their current streak is more than 22 points per game. And if it feels like you’ve never heard of a team stretch that dominant in the history of the NBA… that’s probably because there has never been a team stretch this dominant in the history of the NBA.

According to Elias, that is the best point differential in a ten-plus game win streak ever. And Boston is only getting hotter as they go, because they just won their last six games by an average of almost 30 points. And they won two of those six games by at least 50.

Which is why it’s worth giving my half Chowd FAM a shout out this morning… yo half FAM... Your team is on another level right now. Your team is on an historic heater right now. It’s not about the Warriors, it’s all about the Celtics.

That said, the Dubs didn't help themselves with their game plan. That plan to back off Jaylen Brown and give him open looks from three pretty much blew up RIGHT IN THEIR FACE. The Dubs let the dude have wide ass open threes from the jump and from the jump the dude was drilling those wide ass open threes. Then after the game, Brown called the strategy disrespectful.

I really don’t think Steve Kerr was trying to show disrespect, but he definitely poked a bear. And then that bear got pissed off and mauled everything in sight. Draymond said they put together that defensive game plan 15 minutes before the tip… and it definitely showed. It looked like they threw together that plan 15 seconds before the tip.

But again, I’m not really here to bury the Dubs, because they were not winning that game last night no matter what their defensive game plan was. The hottest team in the league showed up on their A+ game to defend their home court against a team that celebrated a championship on that court less than two years ago.

A lot has changed since the Warriors beat the Celtics in that Finals two years ago. And the Celtics really want everyone to know that. They really want to send that message loud and clear. Which is why they were never letting the Dubs out of there with a dub last night. And you don’t even have to take that from me, take it from Steve Kerr.

Listen to Kerr channeling Jalen Hurts and his flush it and move on… I’m surprised he didn’t go full Sirianni instead and hit us with a LESS GUARDING EQUALS JAYLEN TAKE OVER. Because that was pretty much the story of the game.

Kerr’s right though, about a couple of things actually. The Warriors did just have a huge road trip and they weren’t beating the Celtics on their A+ game in their house last night. But it's still tough to stomach a head caving like that. Just ask Steph Curry. HEY Steph Curry. What up dude?

Hey I know all about creative ideas that don't work and how demoralizing they can be... I get sent hundreds of creative ideas that don't work every day. Although I guess it is pretty generous to call another Mama Cass reset or Rat Fam nomination a "creative idea." But it's definitely demoralizing every time I get one.

Hey bad plans happen, they happen to us all. At least the Warriors had a plan. At least they tried something. It didn’t work, but at least they showed an off-speed pitch and gave Boston something to think about. It’s just that Boston read that off-speed pitch right out of the hand and then waited on it and then blasted it out of the park and into orbit. But that's also what they're doing to everybody right now. Every pitch looks like a beach ball to the Celtics right now.

Which is why I had to shout you out this morning half Chowd FAM. Not only do your Celtics have the best record in the NBA, they have the best record by a mile. They have six more wins than any other team. They’re riding an 11 game winning streak. They’re beating the ever living hell out of everyone along the way. And they are clearly hungry for more.

So hungry that they’re apparently filming behind the scenes right now for a multi-part documentary. This team doesn’t just know they’re having a special season, they think they’re having the type of season that should be immortalized. At least that’s how it came across when owner Wyc Grousbeck made this announcement on WEEI on Friday.

"Along the lines of the Last Dance??" For real? You mean the docu-series about the GOAT at the height of his powers going for a second three peat? That Last Dance? The one about the 98 Bulls??

Look Half Fam, I like your team a lot, and you’re having an amazing season and you’re on one of the all-time heaters. No questioning any of that. But you got a long way to go before anyone is equating any of you to MJ or No Tippin Pippen or The Worm or Phil.

Like, I’ll give the Celtics their bleeping credit, for real, I just spent this entire segment giving them their bleeping credit, for real. But let’s maybe relax on the ‘98 Bulls comp. Let’s maybe go win one ring first and then work your way up from there.

That said, I can’t wait to see the part of this documentary that covers the Ime Udoka firing. Not because I think there’s gonna be any new salacious details that shed any more light on what exactly went down. But just because I can’t wait for the part where they cut to a newscast and the anchor is all: IF YOU’RE GETTING READY FOR WORK RIGHT NOW, THEN YOU’RE PROBABLY NOT IME UDOKA.

Things are working out pretty great for Joe Mazzula but it's not like this team hasn't had their fair share of drama. I'm not saying their story and this season couldn't make for a decent documentary, it could. I'm just saying let's pump the breaks on the Last Dance comparisons. There's no MJ or Scottie or Dennis or Phil here... Let's face it, there isn't even a Boston newscaster on the level of IF YOU'RE GETTING READY FOR WORK guy. But if there was, he'd probably sound something like this today:
